Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious run was ended by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, however can the Premier League leaders bounce back against local foes Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus AI, fans and a range of special visitors.
In week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
The singer's latest record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Soccer and Family Life
Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other night for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I won't force football on our kids but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football team," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a soccer team for a while too.
"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our side for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their offense is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, though. The Clarets are disciplined and their only at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
This suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
West Ham's only on the road win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest coach.
So, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers extending their streak under Nuno, or the home side responding?
I am going to go with the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four matches.
A family member told me to get Brentford striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had great success on the road this season, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a threat.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
The singer's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be rather close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six matches.
They have have lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a relegation battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight campaign so far.
Their display in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the visitors here, because they are clearly able of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's home form, the only side they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be extremely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
Olly's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a hard fixture to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
